Hi, my name is Matt Scanlin and I am currently the Head Athletic Trainer at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad.  I have been there since August 2018.  I graduated in 2018 from San Diego State University with a bachelor of science in Athletic Training.  While at SDSU, I worked with the football team during their 2016 season as well as the Women's Track and Field team in their Spring 2017 season.  I also worked at Cathedral Catholic High School working with a variety of different sports throughout the 2017-2018 school year.  I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Sport Performance and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania in 2019.  In my free time I enjoy hiking, golfing, and watching any and all sports.
